Excellent service. Needed a head gasket change on a 1974 Jeep CJ5 and they had it done in an afternoon. The best part was they came to our house and did it in our garage.
I was driving back from kids training session right after 8 PM yesterday when one of my tires gave out at the intersection of Exchange and Allen Heights in Allen. While I was trying to figure out the best way to change my tire without compromising the safety of the kids, this white van that just passed me stopped and started backing up and I noticed the logo of “Boy and a Bag Mobile Mechanic” and I immediately wished if they can be nice enough to help me without squeezing every penny considering my situation. Then the young man who was driving the van came and asked if I need help and I asked how much it costs me and he said we will be happy to help you at no charge. His colleague also came and they immediately started changing my spare tire and completed in 5 minutes. I could not believe it as it is not easy to see such good Samaritans at this day and age and asked if I can pay them for their help but they insisted and asked if I can write a review instead. Thanks to the two mechanics from “Boy and a Bag,” I was able to go home safely with the kids and changed my night for the better. It is unfortunate that I did not take a picture or names of the two mechanics as I was overwhelmed with their gesture but the card that they gave me shows Brogan (not sure if that is their name or the owner). HUGE THANK YOU AGAIN for your help yesterday!
Brogan and team did a great job turning around my car’s repairs. He inspected other areas and gave me a timeline when I needed to come back in. If I would have gone to a dealer, they would have wanted to do all this work up front and cost me 2–3 times more. Appreciate the honest communication and quality work.

Excellent mobile mechanic service! Boy And A Bag did great work for us. Brogan and Brysen replaced the passenger mirror on my mom’s CR-V and ran diagnostics on my 1994 Acura Integra. Both jobs were done professionally and efficiently. The mirror replacement was clean and perfect. The diagnostic work on the Integra was thorough; they explained what they found and gave clear repair recommendations. It’s obvious they know older cars well. Having them come to us saved time and hassle. Fair pricing, no surprises, and quality work. I’m moving ahead with the Integra repairs they recommended. Brogan came out and got our sprinter van fixed fast, was super professional and polite, and did a great job under the hood. We transport rescue dogs and broke down in Frisco, TX, and our puppies on the truck were getting warm, so he came out as soon as he could.
I have watched Brogan build his Boy and a Bag business for the last five or so years now. I’m constantly in awe of their technical proficiency and ability to fix even the toughest European car issues that seem to constantly arise. Being a father of three and dealing with my family’s fleet of car issues, finding the time and money and expertise to address and long term fix the various makes and models used to be a huge stressor. Now I call B&aB and they arrive on time, at my location, and not only fix my car’s problems, but do so at a price I can afford! They meet my trifecta of choosing auto professionals to work on my cars in that 1.) They are astute mechanics and know their stuff cold, 2.) They offer fair and affordable pricing, and 3.) They have integrity. I can’t recommend this business high enough and with today’s dealerships absolutely losing their minds with price gouging, I’m beyond confident you will save Boy and a Bag’s number and use them routinely going forward!

I recently had suspension work and various other repairs done on my Lexus. The team was Brogan and Eric. These guys were awesome!! They were very knowledgeable, and true experts in their trade.
